We seek an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and innovative Literacy & Learning Diversity Leader starting in 2025 (Full time or 0.8). <p><strong>Selection Criteria</strong></p> <p><strong>Please provide a written response (up to two paragraphs per criteria) to the following selection criteria:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Demonstrate an ability to support, lead, and promote excellence in teaching literacy in our school.&nbsp;</li> <li>Can model best practices, and support teachers and students in literacy.</li> <li>Demonstrate how you will support children who are having difficulty learning to read and write.</li> <li>Promote student voice and engagement in all aspects of literacy.</li> <li>Provide opportunities for parents to be involved in and informed about the Literacy and Literacy Intervention programs.</li> <li>Ability to lead and support in the area of learning diversity.</li> <li>Ability to collaborate and enable student voice and agency.&nbsp;</li> <li>Support students in wellbeing for learning.</li> <li>Ability to lead PLT meetings in the area of literacy and learning diversity when required.&nbsp;</li> <li>Promotes the school’s Catholic Identity.</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;Personal Qualities</strong></p> <ul> <li>&nbsp; &nbsp; Well organised and adaptable.</li> <li>&nbsp; &nbsp; Possess and encourage a growth mindset.</li> <li>&nbsp; &nbsp; Patient, compassionate, and relationship-oriented.</li> <li>&nbsp; &nbsp; Strong communication and time management skills.</li> <li>&nbsp; &nbsp; Enthusiastic and conscientious.</li> <li>&nbsp; &nbsp; Approachable and collaborative.</li> <li>&nbsp; &nbsp; Committed to continual personal and professional growth.</li> <li>&nbsp; &nbsp; Professional presentation and manner.</li> <li>&nbsp; &nbsp; Reliable and contributes to a positive staff culture.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications and Training</strong></p> <ul> <li>&nbsp; &nbsp; relevant tertiary degree and teaching qualifications</li> <li>&nbsp; &nbsp; hold and maintain VIT registration or satisfy the necessary criteria to gain registration before the commencement of the role</li> <li>&nbsp; &nbsp; accreditation to teach in a Catholic School or willingness to gain accreditation.</li> </ul>
