This is why we have taken the initiative to get ahead of the market and offer the following unique benefits to our staff:</p><ul><li><strong>Higher pay: </strong>We have recently finalised our CSBB Enterprise Agreement which guarantees your pay will be at least 1.5% above the NSW Department of Education</li><li><strong>More time: </strong>We provide every primary and secondary classroom teacher with collaborative planning time (CPT), in addition to the usual release from face-to-face</li><li><strong>Staff voice:</strong> Our Enterprise Agreement reflects our deep commitment to having systems in place which give our frontline staff a genuine voice in their work</li><li><strong>Staff School Fee Discounts:</strong> Eligible staff receive a 25% discount on their children’s school fees at our schools, pro-rated to their FTE</li><li><strong>Wellbeing Support:</strong> we provide a wellbeing program to ensure our staff are supported, enabling them to thrive and grow.</li></ul><p><strong>Specific Criteria</strong></p><ul><li>Collaborates with teachers to provide classroom support to students with diverse learning needs, including students with disabilities and special requirements</li><li>Assists in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans for students, ensuring that instructional and support strategies are tailored to each student&#39;s needs</li><li>Modifies and adapts classroom materials, work, and resources to meet the specific needs of students with learning differences</li><li>Provides one-on-one or small-group support to students who require additional assistance in specific subjects or skill areas</li><li>Offers social and emotional learning support, as well as behavioural support to students; helping them develop appropriate lagging skills and problem solve concerning behaviours</li><li>Administering assessments and assisting in input of student data as well as monitoring and tracking progress as required, identifying and addressing areas of achievement, areas of improvement, and challenges</li><li>Maintaining open and regular communication with teachers, learner diversity teachers, and other support staff to ensure a coordinated approach to each student&#39;s education</li><li>Contributes to creating an inclusive and welcoming classroom environment that promotes diversity and celebrates the unique strengths and talents of all</li><li>Assists in managing and de-escalating situations that may arise with students experiencing emotional or behavioural difficulties</li><li>Capacity to set personal learning goals and strive to continuously develop oneself professionally</li></ul><p><strong>About You</strong></p><ul><li>Experience working with students with disabilities or diverse learning needs (this role is working with a specific student with identified needs)</li><li>Knowledge of learner diversity practices and strategies.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting students&#39; educational and emotional growth</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, educational staff, and parents</li><li>Have a current Working With Children Check (for paid employment) and a First Aid Certificate</li></ul><p>Applicants who are not currently working in a Broken Bay systemic school must have a 4 year training qualification or be enrolled to undertake further study that will provide them with a four year trained qualification to be eligible to apply for any teaching position in the Diocese.</p><p><strong>About us, our Vision and our Towards 2025 Strategy</strong></p><p>Our Vision is to provide &#39;authentic, professional Catholic education, delivered with care and compassion&#39;.
