<p>The Australian Industry Trade College (AITC) is unlike any other school. It is a school for young people who seek a deliberately different educational experience. An industry-driven one. In operation for over 15 years, the AITC provides a unique program for Years 10 to 12 that enables and empowers young people to find their purpose and proudly pursue a pathway in industry. It is a seamless blend of senior secondary education (QCE), work placement and vocational training to engage young people in purposeful learning experiences with real work industry relevance. </p><p>Reporting to the CEO and working collaboratively as part of the Executive Leadership Team, the Director of Education will drive the strategic direction of the College through strong leadership and influence of the Education Division. You will be an exceptional and visionary leader committed to ensuring that the AITC strategically delivers a sector-leading, industry-driven educational experience. The Director of Education is entrusted with the executive leadership for the Education Division through two professional services areas (Schools and Quality, and Industry and Partnerships) and the overarching accountability for the performance of all AITC schools with an emphasis on strategic goals, growth, sustainability, and quality. Within the Executive Leadership Team, this role is pivotal in defining the Industry Education strategy and fostering strategic industry and educational partnerships.
