Kindergarten to Year 6 serving the Kiama Parish with an enrolment of approximately 332 pupils.

<p><strong>Location:</strong> Ss Peter and Paul Catholic Parish Primary School, Kiama</p><p>A temporary part time position (working Monday to Friday) commencing 23 July 2024 until 26 September 2024.</p><p>This position exists to support the delivery of quality learning and teaching. This classroom-based position requires you to work collaboratively with teachers, providing assistance in all areas of student learning and management.</p><p>ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA</p><p>The preferred applicant demonstrates the following criteria:</p><ul><li>A commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.</li><li>Ability to support children’s individual learning in the classroom.</li><li>Understanding of and ability to work with students with diverse needs.</li><li>Ability to interact positively with students.</li><li>Technical competence in appropriate technologies.</li></ul><p>DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA</p><ul><li>Previous experience in similar settings.</li><li>Experience with the PB4L framework.</li></ul><p>The following GENERAL CAPABILITIES are applicable to the role:</p><ul><li>Well developed written and oral communication skills.</li><li>Well-developed interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.</li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality.</li></ul><p>DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION</p><ul><li>Certificate III in Classroom Support or equivalent</li></ul><p>WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE</p><p>This role is classified as a child related work and therefore a working with children clearance is required prior to your commencement with us.</p><p>POSITION APPLICATION&nbsp;</p><p>To submit your Application please select the 'Apply Now' button at the bottom of this advertisement.</p><p><strong>Closing date: 15 July 2024 at 5.30pm</strong></p>
