We are looking for a Lab Technician to join our Science Department. This is a job-share, part-time position working Fridays only, term time only.

<p>We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lab Technician to join our High School Science Department. This position is a part-time job share position working one day per week (Friday 8am - 4pm), term time only. </p><p>The successful applicant will have proven experience in working in a laboratory setting and an understanding of the basic scientific concepts being taught in schools and hold a current Working With Children Check. </p><p>This position would be well-suited to someone in their final years of study, a science teacher who is looking for a change of pace in their career, or someone with lab experience looking to balance other responsibilities.  </p><p><strong>About This Opportunity</strong> </p><p>You will be responsible for conducting the following tasks:</p><ul><li>Management of consumable stock</li><li>Preparation and pack up of materials for lessons</li><li>WH&amp;S and risk assessments</li><li>Support student activities and lessons</li><li>Coordinate regular cleaning, maintenance and servicing of equipment. </li></ul><p><strong>About Our School</strong></p><p>Emanuel is an independent, co-educational, Jewish day school situated in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney.  Students from Pre-school to Year 12 learn, play and flourish on our beautiful heritage-listed campus in the Eastern suburbs of Sydney, Australia.</p><p>Our students grow into innovative, enterprising, global citizens, who understand their responsibility for Tikkun Olam (repairing the world).
