Willunga Waldorf School is seeking a Secondary STEM Teacher to join our High School Faculty in Semester 2. The primary focus of this role will be on teaching physics, chemistry and mathematics in the senior years but also include two biology Main Lessons and some ICT.

<p><strong>Secondary STEM Teacher (Physics/Chemistry/Senior Math)</strong></p><p>Fixed term replacement contract / part time approx. 0.8 FTE / 22 July to 13 December 2024<br /> </p><p>Willunga Waldorf School is seeking a<strong> Secondary STEM Teacher </strong>to join our High School Faculty in Semester 2. </p><p>The primary focus of this role will be on teaching <strong>physics, chemistry and mathematics in the senior years</strong> but also include <strong>two biology Main Lessons and some ICT</strong>.</p><p>The successful applicant will be a team player with all-round excellent communication skills, possess a love of teaching, have a generally positive attitude and outlook, and is able to set boundaries with empathy and respect for students, colleagues and the parent community.</p><p><strong><u>Key selection criteria:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Eligibility for Teacher Registration in South Australia</li><li>Suitable qualifications in physics, chemistry and/or math teaching at a secondary level</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students, parents, colleagues and the wider community</li><li>Enthusiasm for teaching in a progressive Waldorf school</li><li>Demonstrated ability to confidently manage and cater for different learning needs</li><li>Demonstrated commitment to working collegially and professionally with strong teamwork skills</li><li>Commitment to the principle of ongoing teacher development both professionally and personally</li><li>Ability to set boundaries with empathy and respect for students, colleagues and the parent community</li><li>Full working rights in Australia</li><li>Commitment to work with the Australian Steiner Curriculum framework</li><li>An understanding of anthroposophy and Steiner Education is desired.</li></ul><p>Applicants must hold a current “not-prohibited” SA Working with Children Check and provide/obtain RRHAN-EC certificate.
