<p>Rouse Hill Anglican College (RHAC) is a highly regarded independent co-educational Christian school with approximately 1600 students from Pre-K to Year 12.  The College is located on 20 acres in the Hills District in Sydney’s northwest and is committed to a professional, collaborative and supportive workplace for all employees. The College has modern facilities, is very well resourced and can be easily accessed by car or the Metro Northwest rail.</p><p>We are seeking a part-time Property Assistant to work three days per week, 7.30am – 3.30pm.  The days worked are flexible and ideally the role will commence as soon as possible.   This is a temporary contract for a 6 month period with the possibility of being extended.</p><p>Christians who are actively involved in a church are particularly encouraged to apply.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>Your responsibilities will include:</strong></p><ul><li>Assisting with maintenance and presentation of school grounds and landscaping projects.</li><li>Assisting with property maintenance jobs including repairs, cleaning and small projects.</li><li>Setting up our auditorium and other rooms which includes moving furniture.</li><li>Receiving and distributing deliveries within the school.</li><li>Liaising with relevant trades when necessary.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills required</strong></p><ul><li>Good communication.</li><li>Ability to work effectively as part of our grounds team and work independently also.</li><li>Ability to follow directions, prioritise and meet deadlines.</li><li>Ability to meet all physical requirements necessary for the position.</li><li>Current Drivers’ licence (LR Licence an advantage)</li><li>Current White Card.</li><li>Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one before commencing).</li><li>A commitment to and knowledge of child safe policies and procedures.</li></ul><p><strong>Our Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>Employee Assistance Program (EAP)</li><li>Discounted school fees (where applicable)</li><li>Annual flu vaccinations</li><li>Weekly staff devotions and prayer groups</li><li>Café &amp; Barista on site</li><li>Staff morning teas</li><li>Onsite car parking</li><li>Close to public transport</li></ul><p><strong>The Contract</strong></p><p>All employees at the College are employed under the Independent Schools NSW Multi Enterprise Agreement, more commonly known as the MEA.
