<p>In 1878, Charlotte Anderson founded Ruyton Girls’ School in Kew, Melbourne, with a vision for sound scholarship, opportunity and challenge for girls. Ruyton has maintained a dedication to Ms Anderson’s earlier philosophy; providing a holistic education; valuing curricular and co-curricular activities while recognising community and connection as essential elements of success. Our school was established and nurtured through the foresight and courage of educational trailblazers. Over the decades our leaders have remained steadfast in their future-focused commitment to educating girls to thrive in this rapidly changing world.
