As part of a team of 5 highly skilled and collaborative IT professionals, you will be providing efficient ICT support to ensure seamless operations. Your role is pivotal in establishing a strong rapport with the College community and delivering exemplary, reliable service in line with Lasallian values and operational principles.</p><p>This is an onsite position, offering an exceptional opportunity to work in a nurturing and supportive environment. You&#39;ll work 38 hours a week, Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:06 pm, year-round, with five (5) weeks of annual leave per annum. Make a difference through technology and service - Apply Now!</p><p><strong>Key duties and responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Collaborate with the Director of ICT on network expansion projects in alignment with the College’s Master Plan.</li><li>Lead ICT Infrastructure to enhance teaching, learning, and administrative support.</li><li>Manage cloud and on-premise infrastructure, ensuring operational excellence and security.</li><li>Provide technical expertise in cyber security, database administration, and system lifecycle management.</li><li>Develop and implement ICT policies and procedures in consultation with the ICT team.</li><li>Conduct training sessions for staff, students, and parents on the effective use of College systems.</li></ul><p><strong>The successful applicant will demonstrate:</strong></p><ul><li>Tertiary Degree in IT or related field, or equivalent industry experience.</li><li>Minimum 5 years’ experience in ICT environments with a focus on systems/database/network administration.</li><li>Proficiency in managing virtualised server environments and hyper-converged infrastructure.</li><li>Strong knowledge of networking technologies, firewall administration, and wireless LAN management.</li><li>Experience with Microsoft technologies (Azure, Office 365) and Active Directory.</li><li>Excellent PowerShell scripting skills and familiarity with ITIL principles.</li><li>Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, CCNA/CCNP) and a commitment to professional development.</li><li>Be supportive of the Lasallian ethos of the College.</li><li>Demonstrate a clear understanding and commitment to the Mission of the Catholic School.</li><li>Adhere to the Colleges Safeguarding Standards and Child Protection policies and procedures.</li></ul><p><strong>Please refer to the position description for further information.</strong></p><p><strong>How to Apply:</strong></p><p><strong>APPLICATION MUST BE MADE ON-LINE VIA THE COLLEGE WEBSITE</strong></p><p><a href="https://www.oakhill.nsw.edu.au/employment" rel="nofollow">https://www.oakhill.nsw.edu.au/employment</a></p><p>To apply for the role, candidates need to submit a covering letter (2 pages maximum) and an up-to-date curriculum vitae that clearly details their relevant skills and experience. </p><p>Oakhill College is committed to child safety and Safeguarding Standards and the health, safety and wellbeing of our students, staff, and school community.
