<p>We are seeking to employ an experienced, dynamic and innovative Administration Assistant. The applicant will be a strong team player supporting our values and mission, providing high level professional and personal support to members of the College Executive and teaching staff.</p><p>Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:</p><ul><li>Managing communications and calendar events for the school community, including College Newsletter and Social Media</li><li>Coordinating College Awards evenings</li><li>Written and verbal communication with external stakeholders</li><li>Managing and maintaining the College social media presence</li><li>Managing and maintaining student medical plans and College first aid supplies</li><li>Providing high level administrative skills to the Executive team and teaching staff</li><li>Providing support to a busy Student Desk and Reception</li></ul><p>Experience and qualifications</p><ul><li>Post-secondary administration or other relevant qualification equivalent to Certificate III or IV, or a Diploma in Administration, Business Services or equivalent</li><li>Demonstrated advanced level of computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office, the Google Platform, Lucidpress and Wordpress</li><li>Advanced written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Demonstrated personal initiative and time management skills </li><li>Ability to multi-task and set priorities and responsibilities with high attention to detail</li><li>Highly developed interpersonal skills, with the capability to work autonomously and unsupervised as well as being a member of a busy and fast-paced school office</li><li>Ability to adapt to changing school requirements and needs</li><li>Ability to identify necessary resources and requirements for successful outcomes</li><li>Strong demonstrated experience with high level administration</li><li>Must hold a valid Working With Children Clearance</li></ul><p>Desirable</p><ul><li>A current Sydney Catholic Schools employment ID number</li><li>Experience in a school setting and working knowledge of Compass</li></ul><p>The successful applicant should be committed to the ethos of a Catholic school and possess the ability to respond to sensitive issues with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times</p><p><strong>Statement of Commitment to Child Safety</strong><br />Click <a href="https://drive.google.com/file/d/1moHWv3A7WHapPQqPo5_J5QWsAk0pAJzi/view?usp&#61;sharing" rel="nofollow"><u>here</u></a> to access SCS&#39; Statement of Commitment to Child Safety and join us in creating a culture of child safety and wellbeing.</p><p><strong>Working With Children Check (WWCC)</strong><br />This role is classified as child-related work and therefore requires a WWCC clearance prior to commencement of employment.</p><p><i>SCS welcomes and encourages applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and candidates with diverse backgrounds.</i></p><p>The usual provision of registration to work with Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) and the Child Protection Acct apply. </p><p>Potential applicants should register their interest by forwarding their resume and cover letter to <a href="mailto:principal&#64;spcsutherland.catholic.edu.au" rel="nofollow">principal&#64;spcsutherland.catholic.edu.au</a> outlining their motivation, experience and suitability.  Please supply the name and phone numbers of 2 referees.</p><p>Please note that only those applicants who have been successful in the short-listing process will receive a reply.</p><p> </p>
