<p><strong>School Support Officer Level 4 - Part Time 38 hours a fortnight</strong></p><p>Starting Date - Tuesday 6 August, 2024</p><p>The successful applicant would meet the following criteria:</p><ul><li>Willingness to respect, support and uphold the mission, ethos and teachings of the Catholic Church and the values of Sydney Catholic Schools.</li><li><strong>Minimum three years administrative/clerical experience in a primary school setting or school environment </strong></li><li>Excellent time management skills </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills and organisational skills.</li><li>Highly developed skills in a range of Microsoft and Google applications with willingness and ability to learn new systems</li><li>Experience in using the digital student management system - Compass </li><li>Be responsible for all first aid requirements including individual students with specific medical needs</li><li>Assist with the Work Health and safety procedures of the school</li><li>Assist with the monitoring of student attendance and school attendance processes</li><li>A high standard of competency and proficiency as a support staff member</li><li>Maintain professional interactions with parents, staff and students </li><li>Ability to work efficiently as part of a team, take direction, and support school executive members</li><li>Ability to multitask and be responsible for maintaining the school office environment as the welcoming face of the school</li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times</li><li>Ability to take initiative, be self motivated and to contribute to improving current processes and practices</li><li>Be flexible and be able to manage a range of demands whilst also prioritising a demanding workload</li><li>Hold a valid Working With Children Check clearance (WWCC) number and First Aid qualifications</li></ul><p><i>“SCS welcomes and encourages applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and candidates with diverse backgrounds&#34;.</i></p><p> </p>
