<p><strong>Location:</strong> John Therry Catholic College, Rosemeadow</p><p>A temporary full time parental leave replacement position commencing 22 July 2024 until 27 September 2024. The successful applicant will be required to teach HSIE.&nbsp; The role of Classroom Teacher exists to support growth in faith and improvement in learning so that students may reach their full potential.</p><p>ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA</p><ul><li>Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.</li><li>Create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning environment based on the principles of PB4L.</li><li>Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.</li><li>Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning in HSIE.</li><li>Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning.</li><li>Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues, parents /carers and the wider school community.</li></ul><p>GENERAL CAPABILITIES</p><ul><li>Well-developed interpersonal skills.</li><li>Well-developed oral and written communication skills.</li><li>Strong organisational skills.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.</li></ul><p>QUALIFICATIONS</p><ul><li>Appropriate qualifications for teaching nominated Key Learning Area (s).</li><li>Level B Accreditation in accordance with To Work, Teach and Lead policy or a commitment to gain level within the first 5 years of employment&nbsp; with CEDoW.</li><li>The applicant must be registered to teach with NESA.</li></ul><p>WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE</p><p>This role is classified as child related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.</p><p>POSITION APPLICATION&nbsp;</p><p>Applicants are to complete an online application which asks to briefly address the essential criteria (equivalent to 2-3 pages) and submit a short CV (2-3 pages).</p><p>To submit your Application please select the 'Apply Now' button at the bottom of this advertisement.</p><p><strong>Closing date: 19 July 2024 at 3pm</strong></p>
