Play a key role in coaching others in the effective use of ICT within the curriculum and classroom.

We want Westminster to have a world class reputation, renowned for a genuine focus on wellbeing, inspired by our values of kindness, resilience, mindfulness, curiosity, courageousness and inclusivity.<br /><br /><strong>About the Technology Coach</strong></p><p>We are seeking a passionate, enthusiastic Teacher with exceptional technology skills to play a key role in coaching teachers across our School in the effective use of technology and artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance teaching and learning experiences by integrating innovative educational technologies and AI into pedagogical practices.<br /><br />You will be an empathetic, resilient and optimistic educator who is committed to lifelong learning and continuous improvement. You will have a high level of organisational and prioritising skills, with the ability to be flexible to manage multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.<br /><br /><i><strong>Key Responsibilities include:</strong></i></p><ul><li>Technology Integration: To seamlessly integrate appropriate technology tools and AI-driven solutions into teaching and learning.</li><li>Professional Development: Supporting educators in developing their digital literacy and pedagogical skills related to technology and AI.</li><li>Evidence-Based Practices: Promoting evidence-based teaching methods that leverage technology and AI.</li><li>Equity and Inclusion: Creating an inclusive learning environment where technology benefits all students, regardless of their backgrounds or abilities.</li><li>Continuous Improvement: Continually evaluates the impact of technology and AI on teaching and learning using up to date research.</li><li>Teaching at 0.5 FTE load.</li></ul><p><i><strong>Key Selection Criteria: Qualifications, Skills and Experience include:</strong></i></p><ul><li> Relevant tertiary qualifications and an experienced Teacher </li><li> Current (or ability to attain) SA Teacher Registration</li><li> Proven ICT skills and a passion for using ICT to enhance teaching and learning</li><li> Knowledge and application of the latest pedagogical research to inform practice with regards to e-learning</li><li>An innovative approach to using ICT in the classroom</li><li>Knowledge of current collaborative software and systems</li><li>Excellent communication, problem solving and analytical skills</li><li>Ability to use initiative and work independently</li><li>Proven ability to effectively deal with change</li><li>An optimistic, energetic and enthusiastic approach to work</li><li>The ability to troubleshoot minor PC system faults would be an advantage</li></ul><p><i><strong>Key Selection Criteria: Personal Qualities include:</strong></i></p><ul><li>The capability to work co-operatively with students, staff and parents to produce the best learning outcomes for students</li><li>Capable of thinking autonomously and uses initiative </li><li>Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills which enable positive relationships to be built with managers, peers, staff, parents and students</li><li>Demonstrates a high level of discretionary effort</li><li>Can adjust to change and quick to respond to new situations</li><li>Able to both successfully work independently, and collaboratively as part of a team</li><li>Demonstrates a commitment to organisational values</li><li>Demonstrates a high level of discretionary effort</li></ul><p>A position description is available on our website under Careers. www.westminster.school <br /><br />For further information about this role please contact the humanresources&#64;westminster.sa.edu.au<br /><br />To apply, please submit your resume and a cover letter to Ms Angela Phillips, Director of Teaching.<br /><br />Applications will only be accepted when submitted through Seek and may be reviewed ads received.</p><p> <i><strong>Westminster, where you can achieve more than you thought possible.</strong></i></p>
