<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Teachers</strong></p><p><strong>West and Far North West Schools</strong></p><ul><li>St Joseph’s Catholic School, Queenstown</li><li>St Joseph’s Catholic School, Rosebery</li><li>St Peter Chanel Catholic School, Smithton</li></ul><p>Catholic Education Tasmania is a community of thirty-eight schools and colleges serving over 17,000 students, their families and over 2,400 employees across Tasmania.</p><p>Reporting to the Principal, you will provide the spiritual, academic and wellbeing needs of students through personal example, integrity and behaviour.</p><p>As a Teacher in Catholic Education Tasmania, you will:</p><ul><li>Be a part of our journey to improve the learning achievement of every student in our schools.</li><li>Develop and support a school culture that empowers students to think critically, discern wisely and value the search for truth.</li><li>Create and maintain a safe and engaging environment to enable positive learning to take place.</li><li>Be willing to participate fully in the life of the school.</li></ul><p>Some of the skills and experiences we are looking for are:</p><ul><li>Have appropriate graduate and/or post graduate qualifications.</li><li>Be a registered Teacher in Tasmania or be able to gain registration prior to the commencement of the position.</li><li>Understand Australian curriculum relevant to Tasmanian Catholic education.</li><li>Understand current teaching pedagogy and best practice.</li></ul><p>You will be supported with Our Journey Package:</p><ul><li>Removal cost support of $1,500 each way.</li><li>Subsidised rent up to $300 per week for private properties.
