Xavier High School are seeking a Part-Time Maintenance and Grounds Officer to commence 22nd July 2024.

Ensuring the provision of a contemporary and sustainable learning environment that is supporting CEDWW core business of learning, teaching and wellbeing.</p><p><a href="https://acrobat.adobe.com/link/track?uri&#61;urn:aaid:scds:US:61d5c935-4ccb-3aef-be74-969c3785d2f5" rel="nofollow">Position Description Attached</a></p><p><strong>What we can offer</strong></p><ul><li>Part-Time Permanent Position</li><li>70 Hours / Fortnight</li><li>Commencing 22 July 2024</li><li>Discounted Bupa Health insurance!</li><li>Salary Packaging through Maxxia!</li><li>Access to our Employee Assistance Program through THRIVE Psychology</li><li>Salary: Level 4: $76, 468 per year (pro-rata) - Unaveraged (works during school break)</li></ul><p><strong> Selection Criteria</strong></p><ul><li>Understanding of and a commitment to WHS practices and engagement in policy</li><li>Ability to actively support the scheduling, priorities and safety practices for the team</li><li>Ability to use IT systems and software to log, record and facilitate record keeping and<br />administration tasks</li><li>Knowledge and understanding of safe work practices and promoting a safe work<br />environment</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of the wider Support Staff<br />team</li><li>Well developed organisational skills and an ability to prioritise deadlines</li><li>Being a positive and proactive team dedicated to customer service and customer<br />satisfaction</li><li>Experience in maintenance, grounds, gardens and buildings or facilities</li></ul><p><strong>Essential Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum of a Diploma and/or a trade qualification or working towards a qualification<br />in a building related discipline such as a trade; carpentry, construction; cabinet making<br />or equivalent</li><li>Minimum two years experience in facilities, maintenance, landscaping or similar</li><li>Experience in the effective and safe use of a range of grounds and maintenance<br />equipment</li><li>Knowledge and commitment to safe work practises and Work Health and safety policies and<br />procedures and Knowledge of safe lifting and manual handling techniques</li><li>Familiar with safe working at heights practices</li><li>Experience in a variety of IT systems and software</li><li>Current drivers licence</li><li>Valid NSW Working With Children Check</li><li>Successful candidate to undertake a Functional Assessment and National Criminal History Check</li></ul><p><strong>How to apply:</strong></p><p>If you are interested in these positions and would like further information, please contact Mrs Ingrid Hopwood on 02 6040 6388 or <a href="mailto:hopwoodi&#64;ww.catholic.edu.au" rel="nofollow">hopwoodi&#64;ww.catholic.edu.au</a> </p><p>Please submit a resume and cover letter addressing the selection criteria.
