<p><strong>Role Description/Criteria</strong></p><p><strong>Teacher at St Mary&#39;s School Castlemaine</strong></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> St Mary&#39;s Catholic Primary School, Castlemaine</p><p>St Mary&#39;s Catholic Primary School is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified teachers to join our dedicated team. We believe that strong partnerships between families and the school make a significant difference in a child’s education.</p><p><strong>Position Overview:</strong> We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced classroom practitioner who is familiar with the Victorian Curriculum. The successful applicant will be able to collaborate effectively with others as part of a professional team, working towards improving learning outcomes for all students.</p><p><strong>Selection Criteria:</strong></p><ul><li>Faith-filled with a strong commitment to the Catholic Ethos of the school and to the spiritual, emotional, social, and educational wellbeing of all students.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the capacity to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.</li><li>Supportive behaviour management practices.</li><li>Strong understanding and working knowledge of contemporary learning and how to positively impact student learning.</li></ul><p><strong>Special Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.</li><li>Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic Primary School is desirable.</li><li>Commitment to child safety, maintaining best practices to ensure this, and ongoing evaluation of these practices.</li></ul><p><strong>Application Process:</strong> Only applications which include the attached application form will be considered.
