All Saints Catholic College is seeking a casual bus drive to join our wonderful community. The successful candidate will be employed on a casual basis to assist in driving our 25-seater bus to College events and excursions. Commencing as soon as possible or by negotiation. <p><strong>About our School</strong></p><p>All Saints Catholic College is the biggest Catholic school in the Sydney Archdiocese, and we are currently recruiting for a Bus Driver to work in a casual capacity. We are an innovative and creative learning community set across two campuses, Liverpool and Casula. Personal growth is nurtured through positive relationships between our students and staff ensuring we live out our College motto Inspired by Christ. </p><p>We are looking for a reliable Bus Driver to join our team. As a School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for transporting students to and from school and extracurricular events, following a scheduled route and ensuring the safety of all passengers.</p><p><strong>About you</strong></p><p>Reporting to the Principal and Business Manager, a School Bus Driver is a professional who transports students to and from school and extracurricular events. They maintain a clean bus at all times and obey traffic laws while transporting students.</p><p><strong>To be successful in this role, you must:</strong></p><ul><li>Be attentive to traffic and weather conditions and ensure passenger safety</li><li>Follow the planned route and schedule for departure times and stops</li><li>Regularly check vehicle safety such as tyres, brakes, turn signals and mechanical equipment</li><li>Work collaboratively as part of a team and at times autonomously</li><li>Be willing to undergo any relevant training appropriate for the role</li><li>Commitment to supporting a positive religious and cultural Catholic School environment.</li></ul><p><strong>About the role:</strong></p><ul><li>Transport children and other passengers to and from school.</li><li>Obey all traffic laws to ensure students arrive at their destination safely.</li><li>Maintain a clean and mechanically sound bus at all times.</li><li>Ensure the safety of all students when entering and leaving the bus.</li><li>Assist students with getting on and off the bus as needed.</li><li>Engage with students as they enter and leave the bus.</li></ul><p><strong>Minimum skills and experience required:</strong></p><ul><li> Proven work experience as a School Bus Driver or similar role.</li><li>Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or traffic infringements within the last five years.</li><li>Two or more years of experience working with children is preferred.</li><li>Ability to carry out assigned routes on time.</li><li>Must have a Light Rigid (LR)  and Medium Rigid Licence.</li></ul><p><strong>You will have attained:</strong></p><ul><li>Sydney Catholic Schools Employee ID number or a commitment to applying for one. </li><li>Working With Children Check.</li></ul><p><strong>Application Process</strong></p><p>Applications must be addressed to the Principal, Mr David Forrester with the following:</p><ul><li>a covering letter</li><li>a current resume</li><li>three referees, including name and contact details.</li></ul><p><strong>Applications Close</strong>: Tuesday 9th July, 2024</p><p><strong>Please note:</strong> Applications received before this date may be interviewed prior to closure, and the role may be filled accordingly.</p><p>This role is classified as child-related work and therefore requires a WWCC clearance before commencement of employment.</p><p><a href="https://drive.google.com/file/d/16B-xCRg3SZ7FNwfk_wCq-aC8TjK56KPU/view" rel="nofollow">Sydney Catholic Schools Child Safety Statement</a></p><p>Contact email: rebecca.britten&#64;syd.catholic.edu.au </p><p> </p>
