<p><strong>Passion for Learning and Teaching required!</strong></p><p>We are seeking a Learning and Teaching Leader to join our school community.</p><p>At St John’s, we believe that learning should take place in a caring and compassionate environment and in a community that encourages open-mindedness, and critical thinking and one where everyone can expect to be treated honestly, fairly and with respect.&nbsp;</p><p>This&nbsp;<strong>Ongoing,&nbsp;Full-time or Part-Time (negotiable)&nbsp;</strong>opportunity exists for a <strong>Learning Leader&nbsp;</strong>to join our positive, supportive and close-knit school environment.&nbsp;&nbsp;This role is a full-time/part-time (negotiable) role out of the classroom which demonstrates our commitment to learning excellence for both students and staff.</p><p>The Learning and Teaching Leader has a central role in collaboration with the School Principal to lead the community in a process of deep learning enlivened by the Holy Spirit.&nbsp;</p><p>In collaboration with the Leadership Team, the Learning and Teaching Leader will promote opportunities for community members to deepen their understanding of current Learning and Teaching pedagogy.&nbsp;</p><p>This role will oversee the documentation and implementation of the curriculum scope and sequence and high-quality assessment and reporting practices.&nbsp;</p><p>This role oversees programs to ensure excellence in Learning and Teaching and leads the delivery of curriculum and signature learning experiences.&nbsp;</p><p>This role is a full-time/part-time (negotiable) role out of the classroom which demonstrates our commitment to learning excellence for both students and staff.</p><p><strong>As a school leader, the Learning and Teaching Leader is expected to:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Demonstrate the capacity to articulate a vision for effective improvement in various curriculum areas&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrate excellent classroom practice and pedagogy</li><li>Demonstrate an understanding of contemporary Learning and Teaching in&nbsp; Literacy and Mathematics</li><li>Demonstrate leadership skills in classroom practice and collaborative team planning&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrate the capacity to articulate best practices in improving student outcomes&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrate the capacity to develop and present relevant professional learning in various curriculum areas based on observed needs&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrate the capacity to work with a diverse group of professionals&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrate the capacity to challenge effectively and to work collaboratively&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrate an understanding of the inquiry process in relation to all aspects of the curriculum.</li></ul><p><strong>Learning and Teaching Leader Responsibilities&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Offer active and practical support towards the development of the school as a faith community&nbsp;</li><li>Witness, through their daily living the beliefs, practices and values of the Catholic Church tradition&nbsp;</li><li>Promote the integration of Catholic teaching and values across the curriculum in conjunction with other Leaders&nbsp;</li><li>Support teachers in their development through modeling, feedback and coaching conversations</li><li>Liaise with the Intervention Leader in regard to student selection,&nbsp;
