To be successful in this role you will need comprehensive knowledge of the curriculum and the ability to identify and adapt teaching styles to meet the individual needs of students through an inquiry perspective. Experience in teaching subjects in the Vocational area and/or relevant Certification would be an advantage.\</li><li>A capacity to coordinate a teaching team effectively, to supervise staff across different subject areas, to promote their own and the department’s professional development and to work with the staff to effect change.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills including high-level mediation and conflict resolution skills, and superior interpersonal skills including the ability to build community, to liaise effectively with relevant members of the school community and with appropriate outside agencies.</li><li>High-level planning and organisation skills, including the maintenance of excellent records and the capacity to solve problems creatively.</li><li>A thorough knowledge of current issues in education and in the teaching of Vocational subjects, an innovative approach to curriculum and the capacity to effectively coordinate programs</li></ol><p><i>Please refer to the position description for in-depth details regarding the position duties, criteria, and skill set required.&nbsp;</i></p><p><strong>Other Eligibility Criteria&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>You must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident to be eligible to apply for this position.&nbsp;</li><li>Appointment is subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment in accordance with CECG policy.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Application Process&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Applicants are required to submit a cover letter and current resume including a statement of suitability against the skills, attributes, and experience as outlined in the Position Description.&nbsp;</p><p>This position involves working with children.
