St.Vincent's requires a part-time staff member to deliver the National School Wellbeing Program.

<p>St Vincent de Paul Primary School is situated in Morwell, heart of the Latrobe Valley. It is Victoria’s energy centre and situated 150 kilometres east of Melbourne on the lands of the Gunaikurnai People, with a population of 15,000.</p><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>St Vincent de Paul Primary School has an enrolment of 210 and is richly blessed with a proud community that is diverse and exciting. </p><p>We have been successful in gaining funding to appoint a part-time staff member to deliver the National School Wellbeing Program.</p><p><a href="https://www.vic.gov.au/national-student-wellbeing-program" rel="nofollow">https://www.vic.gov.au/national-student-wellbeing-program </a></p><p><i>Duties and responsibilities can be explore via the program website and our attached Position Description. </i></p><p> </p><p><strong>Period:</strong> Fixed Term position (Special Project)</p><p><strong>Hours:</strong> Approx 10-15 hours per week depending on salary classification</p><p><strong>Commencement Date:</strong> Immediate start</p><p><strong>End date</strong>: Conclusion of the 2024 School Year.  (Note: Ongoing funding of this project beyond 2024 is expected)</p><p> </p><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>Salary: Expected to be at Education Support Officer Level 2</li><li>Dedicated support from school leadership</li><li>Work in a team with exceptional leaders, teachers and Ed Support Staff</li></ul><p> </p><p> <strong>Essential Knowledge and Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Demonstrated ability to address the varying intellectual, emotional, and physical needs of chidren</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills </li><li>Ability to engage different stakeholders in a professional setting</li></ul><p> </p><p>Our school has recently completed the most extensive building program in the school’s history, which has provided beautiful, tech-rich learning spaces. We have recently created dedicated spaces to address the social-emotional needs of our children. The building project also had a deliberate focus on creating optimal employee facilities with a variety of spaces for staff to work and relax.</p><p>Our staff demonstrate a commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children. We welcome applicants with experience working within Catholic Education but also give a commitment to warmly welcoming new staff from other sectors or non-education backgrounds.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
