St Bede’s Catholic College, Chisholm is seeking a permanent full time Leader of Learning (HSIE) to join the team in January 2025.

<p>St Bede’s Catholic College, Chisholm is seeking a permanent full time Leader of Learning (HSIE)&nbsp;to join the team in January 2025.<br><br>St Bede’s Catholic College, in the recently established suburb of Chisholm, is a new co-educational Catholic secondary school that is part of the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle.<br>The College opened in 2018 and will eventually cater for 1,100 students in Years 7 to 12.<br>Currently, the College has approximately 800 Year 7-12 students, with the first Year 12 cohort having recently graduated.&nbsp;<br><br>The key components that drive the development of the school are Courage, Knowledge, Community and Faith.<br>These components align to the four domains of the College’s Strategic Plan – Catholic Formation and Mission, Learning and Teaching, Leadership, Wellbeing and Partnerships.<br><br><br><br><a href="https://diocesemn.azurewebsites.net/media/5496/position_description_-_cso_-_leader_of_learning.pdf"><strong>POSITION DESCRIPTION</strong></a><br><br>Leaders of Learning work in collaboration with the school leadership team and colleagues to promote the school as a place of learning and excellence in accordance with contemporary evidence-based learning principles. Within their faculty they will:<br>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>ensure the highest standards of teaching practice<br>&nbsp;</li><li>lead and support the ongoing development, implementation and oversight of quality teaching programs and learning outcomes<br>&nbsp;</li><li>have deep understanding and expertise in KLA curriculum requirements<br>&nbsp;</li><li>establish a culture of collaborative and reflective practice<br>&nbsp;</li><li>support individuals in identifying new experiences for their continual professional development<br>&nbsp;</li><li>know their students and strive to provide engaging learning that supports student wellbeing.<br>&nbsp;</li></ul>
