This is a&nbsp;permanent, part-time&nbsp;position&nbsp;with a term 3 start.</p> <p><strong>About the role:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Plan and implement a range of teaching programs or courses of study.</li> <li>Develop an interest in creative expression using skills and techniques that are consistent with the school guidelines.</li> <li>Deliver the teaching of practical skills and theory of various art forms</li> <li>Working with other faculties to integrate art project’s with other learning themes</li> <li>Entry of student work into relevant art competitions.</li> <li>Provide a child safe environment in accordance with the child safe standards.&nbsp;</li> <li>Teach an area of the curriculum or a general curriculum to a year level.&nbsp;</li> <li>Monitor, evaluate and report student progress in key learning areas.</li> <li>Implement strategies to achieve targets related to student learning outcomes.&nbsp;</li> <li>Maintain records of class attendance and recording student progress.</li> <li>Implement effective student management consistent with the school’s strategic plan.&nbsp;</li> <li>Participate in professional development as deemed necessary.</li> <li>To complete/provide informal/formal reports.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About You:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience in providing a welcoming and safe environment for children and young people.</li> <li>An empathetic approach to safety and wellbeing of children and young people to whom we provide services.</li> <li>Some experience teaching Art across varying year levels.</li> <li>Hold a valid ‘working with children’ and be VIT registered.</li> </ul> <p><strong>We can offer you:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Professional development</li> <li>Flexibility and work life balance</li> <li>A community school where we are dedicated and passionate about achieving outcomes for all our students&nbsp;</li> <li>Additional paid public holidays and 2.45 pm finishes on a Friday in Winter!</li> </ul> <p>For a detailed Position Description or to make any enquiries about this opportunity, please email&nbsp;<a href="mailto:hr@ybr.vic.edu.au?subject=Art%20Teacher%20position%20%28via%20Teachers%20On%20Net%29">hr@ybr.vic.edu.au</a>&nbsp;</p> <p>Yeshivah - Beth Rivkah is an accredited Child Safe Organisation and committed to Child Safety.
