This is a unique opportunity to be responsible for the development, implementation and efficient operation of the Outside School Hours Care service.

<p>Yeshivah - Beth Rivkah Colleges is an Independent School based in St Kilda East in Melbourne.</p><p>We are dedicated to providing an exceptional education to all Jewish children in a welcoming and safe environment, enabling them to achieve personal excellence and fulfilment.  We are currently seeking a proven, dynamic, and growth-minded Outside School Hours Coordinator.  This is a unique opportunity to be responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the Outside School Hours Care service catering for Primary aged children. </p><p><strong>About the role:</strong></p><ul><li>Work with Heads of Primary school to develop and implement the OSHC program, which will be clearly documented and fit within the MY TIME, OUR PLACE framework.</li><li>Liaise with parents to ensure that they have supplied all required documentation and permissions for their children enrolling for OSHC.  </li><li>Ongoing responsibility to ensure all documentation, permissions and billing details are up to date. </li><li>Ongoing responsibility to ensure all new and ongoing participants details are correctly entered in OSHC management system (Xplor) and that details of each child’s hours and attendance are correctly entered.</li><li>Report directly to the YBR Principal and liaise with the ELC and Primary Schools Leadership teams on all matters required to aid a smooth operation.</li><li>Ensure OSHC supervisors and classroom teachers are accurately signing children in and out.</li><li>Liaise with finance department to ensure they correctly bill CCS billing and reconcile billing of parents for gap payments.</li><li>Evaluate programs regularly and make appropriate modifications and recommendations so that staff can meet the individual needs of children. </li><li>Guide staff to utilise a variety of teaching strategies that reflect the philosophy of YBR and its OSHC program.</li></ul><p><strong>About You:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to function strongly as an individual and as a member of a team. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship management skills. </li><li>Strong written and oral communication skills. </li><li>Strong organisational abilities and time management skills, able to work in a harmonious and efficient manner. </li><li>Ability to succeed in a busy and fast paced environment, to prioritise and meet deadlines. </li><li>Initiative, drive and strong problem-solving skills with an ability to improve processes and practices and motivated by some “creative” license to make a mark in this sense.</li><li>Experience with developing and implementing a weekly OSHC program.</li><li>Minimum requirement of an approved Diploma of Children’s Services / Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or equivalent.</li><li>Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) card.</li></ul><p><strong>We can offer you:</strong></p><ul><li>Professional development.</li><li>Flexibility and work life balance.</li><li>A community school where we are dedicated and passionate about achieving outcomes for all our students. </li></ul><p>For a detailed Position Description or to make any enquiries about this opportunity, please email <strong>HR&#64;ybr.vic.edu.au.</strong></p><p>Yeshivah - Beth Rivkah is an accredited Child Safe Organisation with the Australian Childhood Foundation and committed to Child Safety.
