<p>The Southport School (TSS) is a leading independent Anglican day and boarding school for boys from Preschool to Year 12 located on the Gold Coast. As one of the oldest schools in Queensland with over 120 years of history, TSS is steeped in tradition, yet delivers innovative academic and co-curricular programs providing the opportunity for boys to find their passion and strive to become the best version of themselves. This wholesome blend of ‘old’ and ‘new’ world practices offers a nurturing environment for boys to comfortably mature into responsible, accomplished, and compassionate young men who can go on to make a positive impact in the world. </p><p>The Chief Financial and Operations Officer is an integral member of the senior leadership team. Reporting to the Headmaster and School Council, the Chief Financial and Operations Officer will possess exceptional financial and commercial acumen and is responsible for the management of all business functions across the school, including the TSS Foundation. The position also acts as Company Secretary to the School Council. The Chief Financial and Operations Officer provides strategic and operational leadership, contributing to the strategic priorities of the school and ensuring effective financial and business operational management of all day-to-day functions at TSS. The successful candidate will be a high performer with an understanding of how the business operations support the educational outcomes for students.
