Their primary objective is to maintain and deliver innovative marketing and communications strategies, ensuring the highest profile is achieved and sustained. They work within the Development and Community Relations team and play a key role in facilitating, fostering, and maintaining relationships and communication with current families, past pupils, and the wider community. They report to the Director of Development and Community Relationships and work as part of the wider team.</p><p> </p><p><strong>The key areas of responsibility include:</strong></p><ul><li>Communications (digital and print)</li><li>Marketing</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p><strong>Key Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Completed tertiary studies and experience in Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field</li><li>A thorough knowledge of contemporary marketing methods, including an ability to utilise modern digital methods to effectively market</li><li>Technical experience in managing web sites and social media</li><li>Excellent skills in the use of Microsoft Office Software, InDesign, Photoshop and Adobe products and content management systems (WordPress advantageous)</li><li>Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and persuasively for diverse audience groups</li><li>Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision and collaboratively as part of a team, to reliably organise workloads, meet agreed deadlines and proactively initiate independent tasks and publication projects</li><li>Highly developed interpersonal skills including the ability to maintain confidentiality, while developing positive working relationships with a wide variety of individuals</li><li>Demonstrated commitment to Catholic Education and an understanding of the importance of charism and spiritual tradition in the life of an order-owned Catholic school</li><li>A commitment to the safety, wellbeing, and protection of all children</li></ul><p> </p><p>A current Working with Children Check (employee) and National Police Check are essential requirements for this position or current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).</p><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong>This position is full time, ongoing.
