Director of Teaching and Learning Permanent Full Time 3 Point Senior Leadership Position Flexible Commencement Arrangement

<p>St Edward’s College is an all-boys Catholic School in the Edmund Rice Tradition on the Central Coast of NSW with an enrolment of 1,000 students in Years 7 to 12. Governed by Edmund Rice Education Australia (EREA), the College provides a wonderfully rich and liberating education that fosters student spirituality and promotes the values of inclusivity, justice and solidarity.  The College is driven by staff who are committed to making a difference in the education of their students. Teachers are creative, innovative and motivated to establish a learning environment that challenges, nurtures and inspires students to achieve their personal best.</p><p>We are looking to recruit an experienced and highly professional leader who will be responsible for working with a dynamic leadership team in the promotion of teaching excellence in alignment with the St Edward’s College Aspiration Statement.  The Director of Teaching and Learning is also an outstanding teacher in his/her subject areas in terms of knowledge of content, current contemporary educational research in teaching methodology, classroom management, methods of evaluation and professional development. </p><p>If you are a passionate educator, with experience in leading whole school initiatives and maintain a willingness to challenge yourself, build on skills and make a significant contribution to an educational setting that is filled with energetic and inspiring educators, then you are the type of professional that we are looking for.</p><p>Ideally the successful applicant will commence this permanent full-time position in 2024.
