<p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p><p><strong>Permanent Part-time role</strong></p><p><strong>Flexibility to achieve a work/life balance</strong></p><p><strong>Highly supportive, collaborative team environment</strong></p><p>St Mary’s College is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) Assistant Director to join our team.</p><p>In this role, you will collaborate closely with the OSHC Director and other team members to ensure the delivery of a high-quality, inclusive OSHC program.</p><p>Your efforts will directly impact St Mary&#39;s College&#39;s children, families, and community, fostering an environment of care, learning, and inclusivity.</p><p>Hours worked will be negotiable for the successful candidate. A minimum of 10 hours per week during term time and 25 hours during one week of each term break will be required. Shifts will consist of mornings and afternoons.</p><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p>We seek a passionate and experienced professional committed to the ethos of Catholic education and the Dominican values of St Mary’s College.</p><p>You are adept at fostering a supportive team culture, maintaining confidentiality, and responding flexibly to the needs of children, families, and staff.</p><p>A thorough understanding of the National Quality Standards and a background in a similar role will be highly regarded.</p><p><strong>Essential Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Approved Diploma qualification (or higher) as listed by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority for SA or</li><li>Be working towards an Approved Diploma qualification (or higher) and a) hold an approved certificate III level qualification and b) have completed 30% of the units in an approved Diploma.</li><li>Relevant and current first aid training (or be willing to obtain prior to employment).</li><li>Approved &#39;Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse, and Neglect - Education and Care (RRHAN-EC)&#39; qualifications (or be willing to obtain prior to employment).</li><li>Screening clearance to work in Catholic Education SA, including current DHS Working with Children Clearance (or be willing to obtain prior to employment).</li></ul><p><strong>Application Requirements:</strong></p><p><i><strong>If you are interested in learning more about this role, we invite you to reach out to our OSHC Director for a confidential discussion Ph: 8216 5700</strong></i></p><p>Potential applicants are asked to visit the college website to obtain an Applicant Information Package <strong>www.stmarys.sa.edu.au/employment-opportunities</strong> </p><p>The Application Information Package provides context and further information on how to apply for this position. </p><p><strong>Applications Close: Monday 24th June 2024 at 9:00 am</strong></p>
