At Mount Sinai College, we are synonymous with academic excellence, proud Jewish identity, and individual care. </p><p><strong>The Position</strong></p><p>Applications are invited from passionate, motivated, tech-savy and experienced Primary School Teachers (with experience in Stage One) for a full-time, Maternity relief position in Year Two, commencing in Term 3 for the remainder of 2024.</p><p>The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic classroom teacher, a collaborative practitioner and will be able to inspire students to learn by differentiating the curriculum and using classroom strategies, including technology which encourage students to be independent and confident learners who are inspired to reach their personal best.</p><p><strong>Key selection Criteria:</strong></p><ul><li>Demonstrate an understanding of how students learn and effective classroom teaching strategies;</li><li>Experience teaching lower and/or middle Primary</li><li>Excellent behaviour management skills;</li><li>A clear understanding of how children learn and can differentiate the curriculum to cater for individual needs;</li><li>Capacity to work as a team with colleagues and leaders to continually improve teaching and learning;</li><li>Employ effective strategies for managing student expectations and wellbeing as well as an ability to develop positive partnerships with College families;</li><li>Willingness to be involved in the College’s broad co-curricular program;</li><li>The willingness to develop an understanding of and support our Jewish ethos;</li><li>Teacher qualifications approved by the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) and a current WWCC.</li></ul>
