Our school is looking for a Curriculum Coordinator to over see the curriculum, support and guide our teachers school wide (T-12) and ensure the curriculum is effectively taught to improve education.

<p>Our school is looking for a Curriculum Leader to over see the curriculum, support and guide our teachers school wide (T-12) and ensure the curriculum is effectively taught to improve education. </p><p>Position available early term 3.</p><p>Applications for this role are welcomed from both primary and secondary trained teachers. </p><p>An interest in working in remote Aboriginal education and a willingness to support the Catholic ethos of the school are important.</p><p><strong>About the school</strong></p><p>Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Thamarrurr Catholic College is a remote Aboriginal school located in Wadeye 400 km South West of Darwin. The Kardu Diminin people are the traditional owners of the Wadeye country. There are over 20 clans from the surrounding Thamarrurr region residing in Wadeye and attending the school. The school operates a Family as First Teachers (FaFT) program, preschool, primary and secondary school. The majority of people in Wadeye speak Murrinhpatha as a first language. The school has been delivering bilingual education in Murrinhpatha and English for over 40 years.</p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p>Relocation assistance, fully furnished housing, generous travel allowances and subsidised power and water.</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>Candidates must be eligible to work in Australia and will be required to hold a current NT Working with Children Clearance notice (Ochre Card) and NT Teacher Registration.</p><p>Please email a cover letter and current CV with three professional referees to principal Jacqueline Conboy at jacqueline.conboy&#64;nt.catholic.edu.au or phone 08 8978 2477 for further information.</p><ul><li>Lead Transition to Year 12 Teachers to implement Version 9 of the Australian Curriculum.</li><li>Work with local and non-local staff to implement NT Indigenous Languages and Cultures across the Curriculum.</li><li>Work in partnership with the College Leadership Team, Module Leaders and Teacher Linguist.</li><li>Liaise with the staff from CENT to promote and enable best practice teaching and learning.</li><li>Continually support and challenge teachers to expand their repertoire to develop evidence- based best practice.</li><li>Provide vision and leadership in the development of innovative Curriculum.</li><li>Provide vision and leadership in integrated curriculum.</li><li>Develop strategic partnerships with professional bodies.</li><li>Collaborate with staff in making decisions about Curriculum.</li><li>Use data to inform and drive change to promote student learning.</li><li>Lead assessment and reporting procedures within the College.</li><li>Maintain a teaching role if required and assist with supervision duties as allocated.</li><li>Any responsibilities as allocated by the principal.</li></ul>
