If you are an engaged, enthusiastic and motivated Japanese Teacher we would like to speak to you about opportunities within the school to work with our language students across Years 7-12. Experience or knowledge of pre-tertiary teaching an advantage but not essential. We would welcome applications from both early-career and experienced teachers.

<p><strong>Permanent - Part-Time – 60%FTE</strong></p><p>If you are an engaged, enthusiastic and motivated Japanese Teacher we would like to speak to you about opportunities within the school to work with our language students across Years 7-12. </p><p>The successful applicant will have proven experience and/or knowledge in the following areas:</p><ul><li>Developing and delivering engaging and empowering learning programs which are inclusive and responsive to student needs. Be willing to actively support additional commitments that promote Languages in the School.</li><li>Take responsibility for the effective pastoral care of students, in classes, tutor groups and on excursions. Proven experience in Co-curricular Programs.</li><li>Commitment to ongoing professional learning through engaging in external opportunities and collaborating effectively with colleagues.</li><li>Working successfully and collaboratively as part of a teaching team.</li><li>Communicating successfully with parents, staff and students and have relevant ICT and learning management systems skills as an integral part of teaching practice including recording and feedback of student work.</li></ul><p>Both early-career and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply and whilst knowledge or experience of pre-tertiary Japanese teaching and the IB (Language B) is desirable it is not essential. The School will work with the successful candidate to develop their skills in these areas.</p><p>We currently have a permanent, part-time role (60%FTE) which will commence at the beginning of Semester 2, 2024.
