The Administration Assistant - Finance will assist in the efficient running of the front office and attend to school level financial duties, working closely with the NT Christian Schools Finance Team. Liaise with NT Christian Schools managers, shared services team, school staff, students, parents, carers, professionals, volunteers and visitors to maintain the high standards of the School.

<p><strong>Key Duties and Responsibilities</strong><br><br>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Be responsible for or have oversight of all accounts tasks as required by the Principal and System Office Finance Department.</li><li>Liaising between the school, the student and the student's family where some discretion and judgment are involved in a manner consistent with the biblical ethos of the school.</li><li>Providing administrative and financial management support to the school community in a manner consistent with the biblical ethos of the school.</li><li>Undertaking a wide range of clerical duties at an advanced level, including typing, word processing, maintaining email and computerised records.</li><li>Assisting in evaluating and selecting equipment, supplies and services with due regard for both economy and quality.</li><li>Undertaking and implementing the requirements of quality assurance such as the fleet of school vehicles.</li><li>Maintain strictest confidentiality.</li><li>Carry out any other duties as may be required by the Principal or line manager from time to time.<br><br><strong>Selection criteria Essential:</strong></li><li>A committed Christian actively involved in your local church.</li><li>Prove an ability to effectively model Christian values as expressed in the Policies and Procedures of NT Christian Schools and to give an authentic witness to those values.</li><li>Proven financial administrative skills.</li><li>Demonstrate excellent communication skills, written and verbal.</li><li>Experience with Microsoft Office software.</li><li>Exercise judgment on work methods and task sequence within specified timelines and standard college practices and procedures.</li><li>Demonstrate the capacity to be an active team member and work collaboratively.</li><li>Be pastorally committed to the creating an environment of care for nurturing students.</li><li>Hold appropriate experience and tertiary qualifications relevant to the position.<br><br><strong>Desirable:</strong></li><li>Experience working in a school setting.</li><li>Experience in Technology One, Canvas, Compass, Edval.<br><br><strong>Further Requirements:</strong></li><li>Must hold a valid Working with Children (Ochre) Card.</li><li>Must have a valid NT police check within the last 12 months, or invoice of order for one.</li><li>Must hold a current NT Driver's License.</li><li>Must hold a current Senior First Aide Certificate or a willingness to obtain</li></ul>
