The school was opened in 1984, founded by the orders of the Sisters of Mercy and Christian Brothers and celebrating 40 years in 2024.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Teacher: Primary</strong></p><p><strong>(Direct Instruction and Release Teacher)</strong></p><p>1.0 FTE, Ongoing</p><p>Commencing 22nd July, 2024</p><p>St Paul's Catholic School, Bridgewater is seeking applications from suitably qualified, innovative and enthusiastic teachers who are able to demonstrate a commitment to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education.</p><p>Applicants will:</p><ul><li>Have the ability to teach a K-6 Program in your specialist area</li><li>Be willing to work with class teachers to support elements of their teaching and learning program</li><li>Have knowledge of direct instruction and focused intervention</li><li>Be committed to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education.</li><li>Be able to articulate a commitment to learning and teaching</li><li>Be willing to participate fully in the life of the school.</li><li>Have appropriate graduate and/or post graduate qualifications.</li><li>Be a registered Teacher in Tasmania or be able to gain registration prior to the commencement of the position.</li></ul><p>The primary role of the Teacher:Primary (Direct Instruction &amp; Release Teacher) is to provide for the spiritual, academic and wellbeing needs of all students and to adhere to Catholic principles, by personal example, integrity and behaviour.</p><p>Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2018.
