<p><strong>Location:</strong> Forbes, NSW 2871<br /><strong>Employment Type</strong>: Temporary (5 year contract)<br /><strong>Employment Status</strong>: Full-time<br /><strong>Salary</strong>: Circa $150,000.00 &#43; Superannuation<br /><strong>Commencement Da</strong>te: January 2024 (negotiable)</p><p>CEWF invites applications from passionate educators with a demonstrated capacity in the area of educational leadership, and a deep understanding of contemporary learning principles in all aspects of Literacy K-6.</p><p><strong>ABOUT THE ROLE</strong></p><p>The Education Officer: Curriculum &amp; Pedagogy will: </p><ul><li>Work collaboratively with the Head of Learning and Teaching and other members of the office team in the development, implementation and presentation of curriculum policies/issues.</li><li>Ensure the promotion of contemporary Curriculum Learning Principles by developing and documenting a system-wide approach, with an awareness of contextual needs, to the teaching of all aspects of the NSW curriculum K-6.</li><li>Work with Principals and their leadership teams to critique their Strategic Improvement Plans on a regular basis.</li><li>Working collaboratively with school-based Literacy/Numeracy Instructional Leaders to implement evidence-based strategies and opportunities to maximise student growth and performance in all aspects of literacy including data literacy.</li><li>Contribute to building the capacity of teachers by modelling collegial practices for evaluating and sharing best practice in teaching strategies, professional knowledge and practice.</li></ul><p>(Please view the <a href="https://docs.google.com/document/d/1UHIasGL-LdiiiR912inhPRvv-uCnXvlx78X8ZXuOeYA/edit?usp&#61;sharing" rel="nofollow">position description</a> for a comprehensive overview of responsibilities)</p><p><strong>ABOUT YOU</strong></p><p>The successful candidate should have:</p><ul><li>a minimum of a Bachelor level teaching qualification</li><li>a minimum of 5 years teaching experience</li><li>commitment to the mission and vision of the Catholic Church</li><li>the capacity to travel extensively throughout the Diocese</li><li>held a leadership level position relevant to this role description</li><li>a deep personal knowledge of contemporary education</li><li>post-graduate qualifications in education and or religion</li></ul><p><strong>FOR MORE INFORMATION</strong></p><p><strong>Contact</strong>: Nick Baird (Head of Learning &amp; Teaching)<br /> </p><p><strong>Ph:</strong> 02 6853 9300 or 0461 456 168<br /><strong>E:</strong> recruitment&#64;wf.catholic.edu.au</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
