We are currently seeking a full time, ongoing Receptionist, commencing Term 2, 2024.

<p>This position works as part of the Administration team to support students, parents and staff at the College.  </p><p>De La Salle College is an integral part of the faith community of Malvern and Malvern East.  De La Salle College is governed under the authority of Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools Limited (MACS). MACS is the employer of employees at De La Salle College.</p><p> Remuneration is based on experience in accordance with the Education Support Officer – Category C scale of the Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2022 (<i>CEMEA</i>).</p><p>We seek candidates with strong teamwork abilities, effective organisation skills, and a dedicated commitment to the values of the Catholic ethos.</p><p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p><p>Your primary responsibilities will include:</p><ul><li>Attending to all students, staff, parents and external providers, whether it is over the counter, phone or via email;</li><li>Sending College communications to parents and students;</li><li>Attend to staff requests for administration assistance, e.g. student announcements, location of students and timetable information;</li><li>Maintenance of Attendance records on a daily basis for all year levels;</li><li>Providing Absentee reports and distributing as directed;</li><li>Attending to minor First Aid matters as well as unwell or injured students in the absence of the First Aid Officer, as required;</li><li>Provide administrative support for all off-campus (excursions, interstate and overseas tours, co-curricular activities) </li></ul><p><strong>Skills/Experience Required:</strong></p><p>We require the following qualifications and qualities in the ideal candidate:</p><ul><li>Experience working with a student management database or alumni communication system is desirable</li><li>Adobe InDesign experience is advantageous </li><li>A strong commitment to Catholic education.</li><li>An ability to develop and maintain professional and caring relationships with students and colleagues.</li><li>An eagerness to learn</li><li>Experience in a similar role is advantageous </li></ul><p><strong>Special Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>De La Salle College promotes the safety, wellbeing, and inclusion of all children; therefore, the successful applicant must demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to providing a safe environment for children.</li><li>The successful applicant will hold a Working with Children Check and Police Check.</li><li>Contact details of two referees. </li></ul><p>Join our passionate team at De La Salle College and contribute to nurturing young minds in a supportive and thriving educational community. </p><p>Applications close 4:00pm Monday 27 May 2024. <br />Please submit your resume and cover letter via <a href="https://www.seek.com.au/job/75790350" rel="nofollow">Seek</a>.
