The Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta is seeking an Administration Officer to support the business and clerical requirements of the school.

<p><strong>Location: </strong>Penola Catholic College - Emu Plains</p><p>Penola Catholic College is a Year 7-12 co-educational College centred on quality contemporary learning practices around the values of St Mary of the Cross MacKillop.</p><p>The commencement date for this temporary part-time position with the view for a permanent position for the successful applicant. Commencement date ASAP.</p><p>The College requires a permanent part-time Enrolment and Attendance Officer to work 68 hours per fortnight in the front office of the school. The days of work will be Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:00pm inclusive of a half hour unpaid lunch break.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities would be to:</strong></p><p>Enrolment Officer:</p><ul><li>Facilitate the end-to-end enrolment process, including conducting tours for prospective parents, providing information about the College and assisting with the necessary paperwork</li><li>Effective oral and written communication skills with parents, addressing inquiries, providing updates and ensuring a positive experience throughout the enrolment process</li><li>Ensuring all enrolment documentation is accurately completed and in compliance with Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese Limited enrolment policy</li><li>Coordination of the interview process</li><li>Maintaining correct databases for enrolments for future year students</li><li>Coordination when the student commences at the College</li></ul><p>Attendance Officer:</p><ul><li>Ensuring student roles are keep correct at all times during the day</li><li>Monitoring for any inconsistencies</li><li>Helping students and staff with any inquiries</li><li>First Aid for students – current first aid certificate or willingness to obtain</li></ul><p><strong>Position Criteria:</strong></p><ul><li>Detailed knowledge of complex office procedures</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team</li><li>Demonstrated capacity to exercise initiative, organise resources and meet deadlines</li><li>Ability to interact with school staff, students and members of the school community</li><li>Ability to communicate with new prospective families to promote enrolment to the College</li><li>Prior knowledge of the Compass Student Portal would be seen as an advantage.</li><li>Commitment to the Catholic Ethos of the College</li></ul><p>The applicant must submit with their application the following:</p><ul><li>A current CV and cover letter addressing the position criteria</li><li>Nominated professional referees, must be at least three</li><li>Current Working with Children’s Check</li><li>Current First Aid Certificate if applicable</li></ul>
