Teachers within the Diocese are responsible to the Principal and shares in the learning and teaching of subject matters to students of the school community. Teachers are responsible for delivering high quality contemporary learning and teaching for the community they serve which is embedded in the Catholic world view. It is a collaborative ministry of witness and service and part of the evangelising mission of the Church.

<p><strong>Location: </strong>St Agnes Catholic High School - Rooty Hill</p><p>We are seeking a school leader to be accountable for Leading the Learning, commencing Term 3 2024, with expertise in PDHPE, through collaboration, instructional leadership, supporting evidence-based practice and a commitment to their own learning at St Agnes CHS.</p><p>The Leader of Learning:</p><ul><li>Contributes to the delivery of the system strategic intent and learning agenda within the local school context Exercises Catholic leadership and fosters the faith formation of students and staff</li><li>Leads the implementation of the learning framework, agreed pedagogical practice, and school action plan including literacy and numeracy goals</li><li>Builds the capacity of teachers through professional learning, feedback, mentoring and coaching</li><li>Collaborates across areas of responsibility to provide integrated, personalised, and experiential learning opportunities</li><li>Ensures relevance and rigour in learning experiences and quality teaching through ongoing research and analysis of data to support evidence-based practice</li><li>Contributes to a culture of collaboration and shared responsibility across the school</li><li><p>Tracks, reports and meets compliance requirements of assigned areas of responsibility and components of registration and accreditation in accordance with school, system and legislative requirements&nbsp;</p><p>Typical Experience and Qualifications:</p></li><li>Accredited tertiary qualification in education or degree in the PDHPE discipline with a graduate degree in teaching</li><li>Demonstrated experience or capacity to lead a high performing team in a school setting</li><li>Applicants with a capacity to teach Religious Education will be advantaged Working with Children Check</li><li>Australian resident or citizen</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<a href="https://secure.dc2.pageuppeople.com/apply/TransferRichTextFile.ashx?sData=UFUtVjMtT9dMXcAJC9vGGRMsABrs36-9ltAjkLV3QriqZVFeY52LpCb1wy3yuXMDeqp-WeR4UiaXuIhDUYhkCtpXsTQ18XEzJodfEI5kjSFxT_8YbFgRd4_Fg1DHei1UbxWd2IZCjWytieyxjGTho7RhIoKuyQ%7e%7e">Role Statement - Leader of Learning KLA (School Based).docx.pdf</a></p><p><strong>The Organisation</strong></p><p>Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment across 80 primary and secondary schools and within early learning and out of school hours care centres in Western Sydney.&nbsp;</p><p>This position involves working with children.
