The Director of Wellbeing and Learning provides leadership and support to the Leaders of Wellbeing to ensure the holistic wellbeing of the students in their care. The Director of Wellbeing and Learning promotes a sense of belonging, safety and connection across the school community. This enables students to reach their potential academically, spiritually and socially. The Director of Wellbeing and Learning is the driver of The Resilience Project (TRP) wellbeing curriculum, the College Wellbeing Student Improvement Plan and works closely with the <a href="https://oscarwiki.parra.catholic.edu.au/confluence/display/pss/Student+Wellbeing+Framework?preview=%2F213752727%2F213752733%2FStudent+Framework.pdf">Diocesan Student Wellbeing Framework</a>.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Position criteria</strong></p><p>As Director of Wellbeing and Learning you will be responsible for working collaboratively with staff, students and parents and demonstrating effective leadership skills. Therefore the position criteria includes an ability to:</p><ul><li>Effectively implement significant and sustainable school improvement and quality teaching through innovation and change.</li><li>Utilise data analysis to appropriately lead and inform school improvement processes.&nbsp;</li><li>Lead staff professional learning and development within a standards environment in the area of wellbeing and learning.&nbsp;</li><li>Engage with the community through a wide range of stakeholders.&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Think and plan strategically as a member of the College Leadership Team and have an ability to initiate change.&nbsp;</li><li>Effectively manage time and resources</li><li>Lead and energise the House system</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>About you</strong></p><p>To be successful in this highly rewarding role you will demonstrate alignment to the core purpose and values of Emmaus Catholic College and relevant experience as a 2 point leader in a Secondary education setting in either Wellbeing or Learning.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>&nbsp;The Benefits&nbsp;</strong></p><p>There are so many great things that Emmaus Catholic College has to offer!
