</p><p>Narrabundah Early Childhood School is situated within the South Weston School’s Network supporting the learning and development of children from preschool to Year 2, with approximately 129 students.
</p><p>It’s unique and innovative setting, in partnership with Communities at Work, offers a holistic service which focuses on high quality learning, integrated service delivery and family support and participation. The educational program for preschool to Year 2 brings together expert knowledge about early childhood education implementing local and national curriculum frameworks.
</p><p>Narrabundah Early Childhood School is committed to strengthening relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The Koori preschool provides Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children aged 3 to 5 years with a play-based, culturally safe learning program aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.
</p><p><b>Eligibility/ Other Requirements:</b> Prior to commencing in this role a minimum of four years full time (or equivalent) tertiary study leading to the award of a recognised school teaching qualification; a current full teaching registration with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) (or eligibility for teacher registration with the ACT TQI) and a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required.
