<p>The Inclusive Education Coordinator (High School and Senior College) is a key role within the School. The role is responsible for leading and collaborating with learning support assistants, teachers, specialist teachers and parents to provide an inclusive, effective and efficient approach to supporting the diverse needs of students within the classroom. </p><p><b>About You </b></p><p>The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic and committed Inclusive Education teacher with: </p><ul><li>Experience in Inclusive Education, including the delivery of intervention programmes and learning opportunities to high school and senior college students with identified needs. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire young people. </li><li>A strong commitment to student well-being. </li><li>The skills to develop differentiated teaching practices targeting those students requiring further assistance, as well as extension and enrichment. </li><li>The ability to facilitate the sharing of best practice in the areas of student support, enrichment, and well-being. </li><li>A collaborative approach when working with staff, students and parents </li><li>Ability to manage NCCD and ILP documentation </li><li>Experience leading and managing a small team </li><li>Strong stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills. </li></ul><p><b>Qualifications </b></p><ul><li>Teaching qualifications </li><li>Qualifications in Education Support or a related field (master&#39;s level will be highly regarded). </li><li>Steiner qualifications and experience are not essential, however a willingness to implement, support and promote the School’s Steiner ethos is essential. </li></ul><p><b>Legal Requirements </b></p><ul><li>Current ACT TQI registration </li><li>Current ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WwVP) registration. </li><li>The right to work in Australia, unrestricted. </li></ul><p><b>Salary and Conditions </b></p><p>Our school operates under the Independent Schools NSW Teachers (Hybrid Model) Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2021. Salary and conditions are determined by this agreement. </p><p>In addition to your annual base salary, you will also receive a Coordinator 2 Allowance of $19,141 per annum, plus 11.5% superannuation. </p><p><b>Child Safe Commitment </b></p><p><i>Orana Steiner School is committed to the safety and wellbeing of its students in accordance with the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations and child safety legislation. The successful candidates must hold (or be eligible to obtain and maintain) a Working with Vulnerable People (WwVP) registration. </i></p><p><br /></p>
