School Secretary – Part time (Mon – Wed) Temporary Position (possibility of becoming permanent)

The position advertised below will appeal to people who are passionate about customer service, providing confidential, efficient administrative and secretarial support, enjoys working collaboratively and who wishes to be part of a caring, dynamic and innovative community.

The successful applicant will support the Catholic ethos of the School and demonstrate a commitment to the philosophy of Catholic Education in the Edmund Rice tradition.

We are seeking a positive, enthusiastic and dynamic School Secretary to undertake a diverse range of administration tasks within our busy school office. In this role, you will be the welcoming face of the school community. You will work as part of a collaborative team providing services to parents, students, school staff and the wider school community.

Duties include:

telephone and email management;

maintain efficient functioning of school reception;

administration of filing and online student management systems;

assisting with organisation of school events and activities;

assisting with creating school documents, letters;

first aid duties as required (First Aid certificate desired or willingness to undertake training provided); and

running and organising the uniform shop

resource and stationery management

assist with any other duties as requested and negotiated with the Principal.

You will have:

at least two years’ administration experience;

sound Microsoft Office 365 skills;

display proven communication and interpersonal skills;

ability to multi-task;

WWC clearance
