St Richard’s Catholic Primary School is seeking to appoint a Maths Intervention/ Extension Teacher, commencing 30th April, 2024 until the end of Term 3. At St Richard’s we are proud to offer quality education in a supportive and collaborative environment with the enrolment in 2024 of 158 students.

<p>The successful applicant would be a valued member of the teaching staff and be a real contributor to the life of our school and make a difference in the learning life of our Year 1 - 6 students requiring intervention or extension in Maths. </p><p>The Maths Intervention/Extension Teacher in summary is accountable for: </p><ul><li>teaching Maths Intervention/Extension students identified in Year 1 -6 (2 1/2 days a week)</li><li>monitoring and analysing the progress of the students in the program.</li><li>communicating with relevant staff about the progress of the students.</li><li>supporting teachers with strategies to implement in the classroom.</li></ul><p>The days/hours ideally would be a Tuesday - Thursday but this can be negotiated.</p><p>St Richard&#39;s Primary School is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care. </p><p><b>Special Requirements </b>-</p><ul><li>Current VIT registration</li><li>An understanding of and commitment to the Child Safety Standards in accordance with the Victorian Government&#39;s Ministerial Order No. 1379</li></ul><p><br /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
