Endeavour College is seeking to appoint a part-time Learning Support Assistant for the 2024 school year working 28 hours per week (over a minimum of 4 days per week with specific hours to be negotiated with the successful candidate). 

<p>This position will work closely and cooperatively with teaching staff to provide support for student learning in classroom, small groups, and one-to-one settings under the direction of the Adaptive Education Learning Leader and Classroom Teachers. Work will be predominantly with students that require additional learning support and/or English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EALD), and will also have a strong focus on assisting with the implementation of our social emotional program. </p><p>We envision a well rounded individual who is experienced and passionate about working with neurodiverse and other students with specific learning needs (Years 7-12) as they progress through their secondary education. Relevant theoretical knowledge of specific learning disabilities (i.e. Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Dysgraphia, Dyslexia) and their implications for approaches to learning, the ability to work with students in both small groups and one-on-one, along with the ability to support learning across a range of areas including numeracy, literacy and EALD.<br /></p><p> </p><p><b>Applications close promptly at 9.00am on Monday 4 March 2024.
