(Acting) Instructional Leader of Creative Arts (Years 7-12) (Coordinator 2)
Commencing 25 March 2024 until Friday 5 July 2024
<p>The College is committed to innovative high-quality teaching and learning and provides excellent facilities and resources. We offer staff a dynamic, collaborative, and supportive team environment with an emphasis on community, academic excellence, pastoral care, and development.</p><p>We welcome applications from innovative, relational, and highly skilled Leader of Visual Arts, to play a pivotal role in shaping the Creative Arts curriculum and fostering a culture of academic and pastoral excellence. The successful applicant will demonstrate leadership, management, administrative, interpersonal, and exceptional teaching skills.
</p><p>The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate knowledge of, and experience in, the areas listed below:</p><p>• Proven ability to effectively administer a faculty and lead learning; teach Yr 12, 11 and 7 Visual Arts and Yr 12 Visual Design.</p><p>• Highly effective, skilled classroom practitioner with experience teaching particularly Visual Arts across stages 4-6;
</p><p>• Effectively manage and facilitate safe and supportive learning environments with an understanding of positive student wellbeing practices;
</p><p>• Be able to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic professional learning community;
</p><p>• Have highly developed interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills and the ability to develop positive relationships with staff, students, parent/carers, and community members;
</p><p>• Developing a climate of excellence;
</p><p>• Be willing to contribute to the broader extracurricular endeavours of College life as an active member of the College community.
</p><p>• Demonstrate a clear understanding and commitment to the Mission of the Catholic School;
