We have an exciting new role available in our school community at Bede Polding College, South Windsor for a Marketing and Communications Officer. This is a great role for an agile and forward thinking Marketing and Communications specialist to apply their skills to the learning environment. This is a temporary position for 2024, 60 hours per week (Monday to Friday 6 hours per day) however, flexible work arrangements may be accommodated for the right candidate.

<p><b>Location: </b>Bede Polding College - South Windsor</p><p><strong>About the opportunity</strong></p> <p>The variety this role offers includes:<br>● Development of strong client relationships and engagement with key stakeholders<br>● End to end coordination and delivery of events.<br>● Use data analytics and timely reporting which informs ‘best practice’ engagement<br>&nbsp; &nbsp;and communications.<br>● Build a library of professional high-resolution photos and videos.<br>● Convey the evolving learning narrative of the organisation with engaging content,<br>&nbsp; &nbsp;to communicate the narrative expressed through written, graphic and video formats<br>&nbsp; &nbsp;through various online platforms.<br>● Initiate social media communications and campaigns which showcases the<br>&nbsp; &nbsp;learning narrative.<br>● Manage &amp; mentor a team or teams of students who produce video and social<br>&nbsp; &nbsp;media content.<br>● Other duties as directed by the Principal.</p> <p><br><strong>Ideal Candidate</strong></p> <p>To be successful in this highly rewarding role you should have the following:<br>● Demonstrated marketing and event planning experience.<br>● Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills.<br>● Creative ability to use video editing software applications to create professional<br>&nbsp; &nbsp;videos.<br>● Extensive graphic/video design skills and design thinking approaches to enhance<br>&nbsp; &nbsp;outdoor learning spaces.<br>● Excellent event organisation and problem solving skills.<br>● A passion for imagination and creativity.<br>● Experience with social media and communications.<br>● Professional experience in design, communication, social media, visual/digital arts<br>&nbsp; &nbsp;not essential.<br>● Working with Children Check for paid work.</p> <p>The Interview process may take place, prior to the closing date of 23rd February 2024 @ 3 pm.</p> <p><strong>Interested?</strong><br><strong>Apply today!</strong><br>Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD) has more than 5000 passionate employees</p> <p>located across its 80 primary and secondary schools.
