<p><b>The Opportunity</b></p><p>Are you a dynamic and dedicated educational leader, passionate about inspiring young minds and shaping the future leaders of tomorrow? St Patrick’s College is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as Head of School – Middle School. This is an exceptional opportunity to provide visionary leadership, foster a positive and inclusive Middle School culture and ensure the academic excellence and holistic development of students commencing their journey in secondary college. Middle School aims to build St Patrick’s College people who are; resilient, open to the spirit, lifelong learners, respectful and inspired. </p><p>In this role you will work with the Principal in ensuring that the aims of the College are faithfully pursued and will be responsible to the Principal for the overall operation of the Middle School (Years 7 &amp; 8). As an innovative and collaborative leader, you will oversee all aspects of leadership in the Middle School, including pastoral care, administration, discipline, learning and teaching, religious education and co-curricular activities. Leading the Middle School leadership team you will ensure alignment with the College’s Mission Statement and policies, ensuring a holistic and enriching education experience for students in years 7 and 8. </p><p>Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2018.</p><p><b>About You</b></p><p>As an experienced educational leader, with a passion for Catholic education, coupled with your outstanding communication and organisational skills, you will have:</p><ul><li>Post-graduate qualification in educational leadership or similar (or working towards)</li><li>Relevant experience in educational leadership, with a focus on Middle School education and pastoral care</li><li>Strong understanding of adolescent development, curriculum development and faculty development</li><li>Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to foster positive relationships with diverse stakeholders</li><li>Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion in education</li><li>Visionary leadership style, with the ability to inspire, empower and motive others towards a shared vision of excellence, modelling professionalism, respect and collaboration.</li><li>Understanding of the Mission of St Patrick’s College as a Catholic school community.</li></ul><p>CET supports the rights of children and young people and is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment directed at ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
