Casual Teacher Aide

Role Description:

The Teacher's Aide is to support student learning by working collaboratively with Teachers to develop and implement strategies to allow students to access the curriculum across Key Learning Areas.

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to work collaboratively and participate in faculty, whole school and community initiatives.
• Ability to work with students who have complex behavioural needs
• Commitment to pastoral care and extra-curricular activities.
• Well-developed organisational skills; excellent written and verbal communication

Essential Criteria

• Certificate III in School-based Education Support or equivalent
• A valid NSW Working with Children Check
• National Police Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes)
• Commitment to the education and wellbeing of young people.
