<p><b>FULL TIME | INITIAL 4 YEAR CONTRACT | COMMENCING APRIL 2024 </b></p><p><b>REMUNERATION PACKAGE RANGE: $188,689.27 to $206,185.87 </b></p><p>St Francis Xavier is an Aboriginal Catholic Community School which sits on the banks of the beautiful Daly River at Nauiyu, 250 kilometres southwest of Darwin in the Northern Territory. Daly River is known by the local people as the Green River. Daly River has over 450 residents with 10 different language groups. The traditional owners of the land are the Malak Malak people. St Francis Xavier has teaching staff drawn from all over Australia, supported by local Indigenous teaching assistants. </p><p>Working collaboratively with the members of the School Leadership Team and informed by our Leadership Framework (Focussing Direction, Cultivating Collaborative Cultures, Deepening Learning, Securing Accountability and Being Christ Centred), the Principal is required to provide strategic and operational leadership in the following areas: Catholic Identity, Leadership, Teaching &amp; Learning, Pastoral Care &amp; Wellbeing, Community &amp; Culture and Finance, Facilities &amp; Resources. The Principal plays a critical role in supporting a diverse community of learners, maintaining strong relationships with local groups and community leaders and supporting students in their educational endeavours. </p><p>This position will involve working with children.
