The Head of Senior School Wellbeing is a senior leadership role that is jointly responsible for leading excellence in student wellbeing and overseeing the College pastoral program. The Head of Senior School Wellbeing is a member of the Wellbeing for Learning Committee and the Pastoral Committee and reports directly to the Deputy Principal Wellbeing. </p><p> </p><p>The successful candidate will have:<br /></p><ul><li>A demonstrated understanding and commitment to the ethos of a Catholic school and its mission<br /></li><li>An understanding of and commitment to student wellbeing </li><li>Knowledge of appropriate avenues and resources for seeking information to support students, parents and staff </li><li>A broad knowledge, understanding and commitment to the principles of restorative practice. </li><li>Perseverance, sensitivity, compassion and patience in the face of complex and difficult situations. </li><li>A high level of discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information </li><li>Effective communication skills </li><li>The ability to manage prioritises and be highly organised </li><li>A demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with students, families and colleagues. </li><li>Excellent planning and organisational skills and high attention to detail. </li></ul><p>The tenure for the Head of Senior School Wellbeing position will be three years with successful candidates also receiving an ongoing teaching position.
