<p>A unique opportunity has become available for a combined Classroom and PPT relief Teacher to join our Mater Dei Community in a temporary capacity in 2024. <b>This position is fulltime, however, applications with part time availability will also be considered. </b>Teachers with experience across any/all Stages of the Primary or Secondary Curriculum, including applicants specialising in a particular Key Learning Area, and Pre-Service teachers with current NESA Conditional Accreditation to Teach will also be considered. The successful applicant will work in a collaborative Team with Class Teachers, Teacher Assistants, and experienced Executive Staff.</p> <p><b>About Mater Dei </b></p> <p>Mater Dei is a multi-faceted mission-driven Catholic Organisation and has grown significantly since it was established in 1910. Today it comprises a K-12 co-educational School for students with intellectual disability, a NextPath Post School Program for young adults with disability, a NextPath Assessment and Therapy service for children and young adults, and an Early Childhood Education Program that includes a community based preschool. Mater Dei also operates a Foundation to support its many good works. Each of our Programs are supported by centralised HR, Payroll, Finance, IT and Development Services. It is an expectation that the Classroom Teacher may teach across all Key Learning Areas and may be required to teach Infants, Primary and/or Secondary students. Applications are encouraged from teachers with experience across any/all Stages of the Primary or Secondary Curriculum, including applicants specialising in a particular Key Learning Area.
