Bede Polding College is a Catholic co-educational school for students from Year 7 to Year 12, providing contemporary, student-centred education in a nurturing environment.</p> <p>About the opportunity:</p> <p>Your duties will include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Have a thorough knowledge of the Religious Education and Mathematics curriculum</li> <li>Teachers of Religious Education and Mathematics to plan for and implement effective learning and teaching by negotiating with students to develop individual, explicit, challenging and achievable learning goals</li> <li>Designing conceptually coherent learning programmes using research evidence and appropriate teaching strategies</li> <li>Analyses and evaluates a student's learning by using a range of strategies for providing feedback in relation to the student's current and future learning</li> <li>Committed to the continual improvement of their teaching practice by using professional teaching standards and key educational and Church documents to evaluate regularly their professional knowledge, practice and engagement</li> <li>The interview process may take place before the closing date of 16th February 2024 @ 3pm.</li> </ul> <p>Qualification &amp; Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Tertiary qualifications in Education</li> <li>NESA Accreditation</li> <li>Statements of Service</li> <li>Working with Children Check clearance (essential)</li> <li>Exceptional communication skills</li> </ul> <p>Please indicate your teaching areas in the Cover Letter.</p> <p>Interested?</p> <p>This position involves working with children.
